To submit a service request please fill in the service form and deposit it together with your sample in the sample submission cupboard on the second floor.

Then send us a notification using the "Submit a Request" option.

Simple screening by us under the microscope is at no charge. However, please always screen your samples under a microscope yourself before you submit them to minimize the number of unsuitable non-crystalline samples.

All measurements will be carried out at 173 K (-100 °C). Please indicate if you require lower or higher temperature.

For any group with an average of five or more crystal structures per month (“superuser group”), our staff situation does not allow us to perform the full service, including structure refinement, report and CIF generation. In that case, we request the group to be involved in the data processing with their own manpower. There will be regular workshops to train the respective co-workers of such a superuser group. In turn, this means that the fee will be adjusted. There is a fluctuating flat rate for superuser groups.
